declutter both body and mind of any tension for relaxation.

Is yoga a religion?
No, it is a universal approach to being a good and happy person.

Is yoga good for relieving pain?
Yes but be sure to tell your teacher so that you can address the pain and practice poses towards easing it. 

Which style of yoga is for me?
It is best to try each style and decide which one you prefer. You may like several!

What does ”Namaste” mean?
The most common translation from the Sanskrit (old Indian language) is “The light in me honors the light in you”.

What if I’m not flexible or not in good shape?

Can I just take a trial class?
You have the option to try the first student unlimited 3-week pass
for $30 or just try one single class to decide which package is best for you.

What do I need to bring to class?
Please bring comfortable clothes you can stretch in.

Do I need to have a mat?
You can bring your own or we rent them at a cost of $2.

How do I pay for classes?

a credit card or you can pay in person with cash or credit card.

Is the meditation for everyone?
Yes, practicing meditation can be done by anyone.
We can sit on chairs or on a pillow on the floor.

Can I teach or work at All Yoga?
You are welcome to send an email to info@allyoganyc.com for teaching and also for
work/study where you volunteer 2 shifts a week at the reception desk in exchange for free classes.
